Use of Maildir



To use the home mail box “Maildir” for that need to edit the postfix configuration file and enter the new line called home_mailbox = Maildir
Now to check that is it working send a mail from one user to other user that exists in
the system and send mail by using mail command.
After that access to the system by that user and check the Maildir directory. It will be created automatically in the home of user.

How to use alpine?   Install Alpine in clinet system and send the mail using alpine.. To install the alpine run this command in the terminal. apt-get install alpine After that if you dont have configure MX records In dns then first create it The ip that you are seeing is the ip of server POSTFIX . mail IN A ip IN MX 10 mail Now configure the Alpine.
